2024 Dance Faculty

Born and raised in West Chester, PA, Halle Marquette received her professional dance training at The Dance Center. She joined the Brandywine Ballet Company and Brandywine Contemporary in 2013. In 2022, she earned a Certificate in Ballet from West Chester University and Brandywine Ballet. Halle currently trains and performs with the Pennsylvania Academy of Ballet in Narberth, PA, under the direction of Melinda Pendleton. She also works with Haverford Dance Center in Havertown, PA, as a ballet and contemporary teacher, rehearsal assistant, and stage manager. Halle has had the opportunity to perform works choreographed by Tim Early, Lina McMenamin, Bryan Koulman, Meredith Rainey, Michael Nickerson-Rossi, and George Balanchine. Some of her notable roles have been The Sugar Plum Fairy, Dewdrop Fairy, Coffee, and Marzipan in The Nutcracker; Demi Soloist/Russian Girl in Serenade; and the Silver Fairy in The Sleeping Beauty.In 2019, she was invited to join Tim Early at the Summer at Sem Dance Program as a Teaching/Resident Assistant. Halle is excited to return as a Faculty Guest Artist for the 2024 Summer at Sem Dance Program.
