The Wonder of Weather
Calling all weather enthusiasts!
Have you been interested in learning more about weather events such as tornadoes or hurricanes? Have you wondered if that Nor’easter storm will bring the snow the forecast promised? If you answered yes, then join us for the Summer at Sem Middle School STEM Wonder of Weather Camp.
During this week-long virtual camp, campers will learn more about weather-related concepts through design and experimentation. The experience will include students having the opportunity to be engaged with others that share the same interests during Zoom sessions, then during the off-screen time complete STEM challenges including building a backyard weather station.
This hybrid workshop will use synchronous class time during the 9:00-10:30 block to discuss topics and projects, as well as independent work time to build and operate your own outdoor weather station!
