  • > 2-week combined dance intensive in ballet and contemporary
  • > Classes in ballet, pointe, variations, modern, jazz, and improvisation
  • > Individual one-on-one instruction and correction

The Summer at Sem Creative Arts Dance Program is led by a faculty of professional dancers and choreographers who come from diverse backgrounds and have immeasurable professional experience. The curriculum allows dancers to refine their technique and increase stamina.
Master classes offered by virtual guest artists emphasize artistic experience while maintaining our COVID safety protocol.

Pending updates to CDC guidelines regarding COVID-19 there will be exciting performance opportunities in collaboration with our Theatre program students in our state-of-the-art performance spaces and on our beautiful campus.

A note from our Director,

“Last summer we truly missed the connections we had come to take for granted. Bringing together artists every summer to be part of the community of Wyoming Seminary is what nurtures the creativity that is born year after year. As we gear up for summer 2021 we are thrilled this year to return by offering an in-person dance program. This will include classes in ballet, modern, contemporary, jazz and hip hop. We are thrilled to begin working towards a degree of normalcy that our young artists are craving. We look forward to you joining us in this new beginning of sorts …picking up where we left off but looking ahead to many summers to come.”
